It was one of the founding parties of the Leftist Capybaras On Meth, and becamse a significant political wing in the party until Joxi was kicked out of the party on alleged charges of treason and misconduct. History
First Meth Party
The original Meth Party was founded on the 29th of July 2022 by Joxi (who abandoned Turning Point Garfield and the Cool Hat Party) and Walt. They promoted the party and made propaganda for a short while until they decided to enter a coalition with Chloe's Red Capybara Party, creating the first iteration of LCOM - the Capybaras on Meth (COM).
In LCOM
As a LCOM wing, the Meth Distributors were one of the most vital factors of the party's victory during the August 2022 Election. Joxi's propaganda and design played a crucial part in LCOM's success, as well as Walt's name serving as a useful figurehead for the party. After the end of the election, LCOM enjoyed a three month period of grace, until it was interrupted by Walt's disappearance and the leadership crisis that consumed it afterwards.
The rapidly polarizing climate between Chloeyists and Neilists led to Chloe promptly asking for Joxi's resignation, concluding the Winter Leadership Crisis on the note of Joxi officially leaving the party.
A New Beginning
Almost immediately after Joxi's forced resignation, he founded the new Meth Party along with the exiled former Garf Minister Walt. The party gathered some support from Garfcord members, and sparked controversies that forced LCOM to mobilize. Despite this, LCOM and the MEP maintained a coalition for reasons unknown.
The Meth Party has been preparing to run in the upcoming 2023 Garfcord Senate Elections.
On December 14th, 2022, Chloe delivered Joxi an ultimatum: stop sending anti LCOM propaganda[4], or the coalition would dissolve. Shortly after, Joxi posted anti LCOM propaganda in the Meth Party discord, leading to an abrupt end of the coalition.
Ideology
The Meth Party is a stronghold of Neilism, being founded and led by the 2 main figures of the Neilist ideology - Joxi and Walt. It is considered to be the primary Neilist party in Garfcord. The MEP is strongly focused on Meth and Garfield, as well as causing chaos and mayhem overall.
